Motor Current Analyzer

Load a stator current recording and get an MCSA diagnosis: rotor, eccentricity, misalignment, stator, bearing and load faults, plus a Word report. Everything runs in your browser.

Step 1

Get an automatic diagnosis

Load a current recording and the analyzer scores every common fault against guideline limits.

  • Rotor cage, eccentricity, misalignment, stator, bearings, load and supply, each scored Good / Watch / Alert / Danger
  • Running speed, slip and THD calculated automatically
  • A scorecard shows the margin below the fundamental for every pattern
  • One column of stator current is enough; add a time column or enter the sampling rate

Step 2

Read the current spectrum

Zoom into the spectrum with the fundamental, its harmonics and fault sidebands labelled for you.

  • Units in dB re fundamental, dB re 1 A, or A rms
  • Harmonic and sideband cursors, with overlays for each fault pattern
  • Linear or log frequency axis, from the fundamental out to the full band
  • Strongest-peaks table for quick reading

Step 3

Demodulate for bearing and load faults

The envelope spectrum isolates the slow modulations that reveal bearing defects, load pulsation and driven-equipment faults.

  • Pole-pass, running-speed and bearing-defect markers
  • Choose the demodulation band, or set your own
  • Results in dB or percent modulation

Step 4

See how the signal changes over time

The time-frequency view shows whether a component is steady or drifting.

  • Spot load changes, speed variation and intermittent faults
  • Adjustable window length and dynamic range
  • Several color scales to choose from

Step 5

Check phase balance with the Park vector

For three-phase recordings, the Park vector shows unbalance and modulation at a glance.

  • A healthy, balanced motor traces a thin circle
  • Ellipses and thickening reveal unbalance and stator faults
  • Per-phase RMS, fundamental and angle, with an unbalance percentage

Step 6

Export a Word report

Turn the analysis into a report you can share, without retyping anything.

  • Add title, asset, location, analyst and notes
  • Choose which sections to include: charts, fault tables, families, peaks
  • Capture any chart's current zoom and overlays, then export a .docx file
